In the RiverDrive game, the river is always changing; you cannot learn the route – it’s always new! The boat is steered by tilting the phone. The player increases the score by hitting colored buoys. Avoid the black mines! If you hit a mine or the shore, your boat will weaken by explosions bit by bit. There are also gate locks on the way, to be steered through with correct timing. Other obstacles are ferries and boats. You have to hit a gas station to pick fuel for your boat regularly and get your boat repaired at the dock. Otherwise you'll have to be rescued by the River Guard – and you lose your points and skill level!

In the menu you can change the default tilt to suit your preference, choose the music pieces, set names (you can play with 5 friends on the same phone and see who's best) and lots more.

Dodge mines, pick up fuel, and watch for oncoming traffic. Take care to time when you enter the river locks or risk a collision!

Be careful of ferries crossing the river too, and keep an eye out for repair stations - if your condition reaches zero, you will need rescuing!
